You need JavaScript enabled to view itMs. Nelson attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she graduated cum laude in 1998 with a B.A. degree in Anthropology and Psychology. She received her J.D. degree from Mercer University School of Law in 2005, where she was a recipient of the Woodruff Academic Merit Scholarship. While attending law school, Ms. Nelson received a CALI excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Writing Group and the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the study of Labor and Employment Law. Ms. Nelson also received a certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting. Ms. Nelson represents management clients in federal and state court litigation, as well as all phases of labor relations. She is admitted to practice before the state courts of Tennessee and the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Ms. Nelson is a member of the Labor and Employment Law and Litigation Sections of the American Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment Law Section and the Young Lawyers Division of the Memphis Bar Association.
