You need JavaScript enabled to view itMr. Loveland began his labor and employment law career in the National Labor Relations Board’s Pittsburgh office, spending nine years investigating and litigating all types of representation, unfair labor practice and injunction cases under the National Labor Relations Act. Following three years in private practice representing management clients exclusively in labor and employment matters, Mr. Loveland joined the Corporate Law Department of Holiday Inns, Inc. in Memphis, where he was responsible for labor and employment law matters company-wide. In that position and subsequent ones throughout his 18-year career as corporate counsel, Mr. Loveland handled all types of labor and employment law matters in virtually every state of the United States and in the Caribbean. Internally, Mr. Loveland guided the company through a multitude of corporate reorganizations and restructurings without litigation. While corporate counsel, Mr. Loveland expanded his responsibilities beyond labor and employment law matters to include litigation management, legal compliance, casino licensing, and gaming regulatory matters. Mr. Loveland ended his corporate career as Vice President and Compliance Officer of Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. when the company moved from Memphis to Las Vegas. He joined the Firm in 2000 and continues to represent management clients exclusively in all areas of labor and employment law, including employment litigation in state and federal courts. Mr. Loveland graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with an A.B. degree in Economics. He received his J.D. degree cum laude from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Mr. Loveland is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third and Sixth Circuits, as well as numerous federal district courts, and the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and Tennessee. In addition, he is a member of the American Bar Association’s Sections on Labor and Employment Law and Dispute Resolution, the Memphis Bar Association’s Section on Labor and Employment Law, and the Tennessee and Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) Bar Associations.
