Kiesewetter Wise was founded on January 3, 1996.  By the end of the Firm’s first week of operation, the founding Members had been joined by five others, all of whom had worked and/or practiced together at a small labor and employment law firm in Memphis.  The Firm’s first offices were located in approximately 4,900 square feet of “temporary” space at the Thousand Oaks Office Park in east Memphis.  From the beginning, the Firm restricted its practice to the representation of management in labor relations, employment law, and human resource consulting matters.

In May 1996, the Firm merged its practice with a group of attorneys who comprised the labor and employment section of one of the largest general practice firms in Memphis.  This merger brought seven additional people into the Firm.  In November 1996, the Firm moved into its first built-out suite of offices (consisting of approximately 8,800 square feet) located on the second floor of the same building in the Thousand Oaks Office Park.  Kiesewetter Wise conducted business at this location for almost six years.

In August 2002, Kiesewetter Wise moved to its present office location in a newly constructed building in the Champion Hills Office Park. The Firm’s offices (consisting of approximately 26,000 square feet of space) overlook the Windyke Country Club in the Southwind area of southeast Memphis.
